Get in touch- Day 1
Arrival in Nouakchott, welcome and transfer to the guesthouse. Visit of the market, fish market, a mosque and the national museum (Mon–Fri).
- Day 2
Road to Nouadhibou. Port visit and viewing of the famous desert train. Night in Nouadhibou.
- Day 3
From Nouadhibou to Banc d’Arguin Park across desert landscapes. Arrival at an Imraguen fishing village, setup in camp, traditional dinner.
- Day 4
Pirogue trip with the Imraguen fishermen, migratory bird observation, traditional fishing techniques. Night at the camp.
- Day 5
Coast drive via Iwik and Mamcar fishing villages towards the Mekharuya dunes.
- Day 6
Continued coastal trek to the Mekharuya dunes.
- Day 7
Return to Nouakchott.
